Part-time Higher Certificate in Food and Beverage Management Programme

  • Duration – 1 year
  • Minimum entry requirement – National Senior Certificate with a Higher Certificate entry, or Equivalent
  • Two intakes per year: February and July

The delivery of the academic component of the curriculum is offered over a 12 (twelve) month study period. The contact sessions are compulsory and hosted on campus once a week by experienced and qualified subject lecturers.

Work Integrated Learning (WIL) as a curriculum component is required for the successful completion of the programme and requires exposure to different areas of the industry. Current industry experience completed within the required areas required, may be recognised though Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL).

Upon successful completion of this programme, graduates will receive:

  • International Hotel School Higher Certificate in Food and Beverage Management (SAQA ID No 88063, HEQF level 5)
